Your enquiry is forwarded to a local inspector who services your Greater Adelaide suburb. The inspector contacts you directly with a quote, by email or phone if you provided a mobile. If we cannot find one for your suburb, we will let you know.

Do I have to accept a quote?

No. You are under no obligation. If the quote does not work for you, that is fine; the inspector stands down. If you want a different inspection type or change your mind, you can submit a new request and we will route accordingly.

Should I compare more than one quote?

It helps. Two or three quotes give you a genuine comparison without flooding your inbox. Use the quote you get through this site as one of them, and compare on price, scope, and turnaround time.

How does an inspector decide whether to quote?

Inspectors look at your suburb, the inspection type, the timing, and their current capacity. If they cannot make your timeframe (e.g. ASAP within 48 hours when they are fully booked) they typically say so, and we will let you know.

What if no inspectors respond?

If you have not heard from anyone within 48 hours, reply to your confirmation email and we will follow it up. Some suburbs (very far north, very far south, distant Hills) have thinner coverage and may take an extra day.

We never share your details with more than 3 inspectors, and only with the consent you give on the form.

Before you book, ask the inspector for their licence details and a certificate of currency for their insurance, and confirm the report will follow AS 4349.3. We read feedback from homeowners on the experience, so let us know how it went.

Step 3: The inspector contacts you with a quote

The inspector will email you directly with their quote. If you provided a mobile, they may call as well; that is part of why mobile is an optional field. The quote will cover the inspection type, the standards used (typically AS 4349.3 for pest, AS 4349.1 for building), turnaround time, and price.

You can ask questions, request changes to scope, or push back on price. If it suits, you reply to that inspector and book.
