How we make money (and why it does not change your quote)
Free sites have to be paid for somehow. Here is exactly how the referral model works and what it means for you. We wrote this page in plain English because the model is worth explaining honestly.
The model in three sentences
You use the site for free. We pass your enquiry to a local inspector, and that business may pay us a referral fee. The inspector sets their own price.
The longer version
Lead generation is a standard part of how trades and service businesses get customers. Most pest inspectors in Adelaide spend money on Google Ads, on directory listings, on local SEO, on van signage, and on referral fees from sites like this one. The cost of acquiring a new customer is something they have already budgeted for. When they quote you a price, that price already includes a contribution toward acquiring you as a customer, whichever path you came through.
Where a referral fee applies, the inspector pays it, not you, and it is agreed between us and that business.
What this means for your quote
Three things follow from the model.
- The site is genuinely free for you. No charge to use the form, no charge to receive quotes, no premium tier, no "we will only forward to inspectors if you upgrade".
- The inspector sets the price. We add no markup to the quote you receive.
- No inspector pays to be listed. There is no directory or paid ranking on this site, so the quote you get reflects the inspector's own service and price.
What we earn, what we spend on
Any referral fees go toward the cost of running the site: domain, hosting, Resend transactional email, GA4 (free tier), the development time it took to build it, and the ongoing time it takes to respond to queries. Anything left over is taken as profit by Loudachris Digital Marketing.
We are not VC funded. We are not chasing growth at all costs. The site is a small, honest, slow-and-steady business asset. If it covers its costs and produces a modest profit, that is success.
What we will not do
We will not sell your details. We will not pass your information to marketing lists. We will not run remarketing pixels or sell ad space to competing services. We will not list inspectors who pay us extra above other inspectors. We will not "boost" any inspector's chance of getting your lead in exchange for payment. Your enquiry goes to a local inspector who services your area.
Checking your inspector
Before you book, ask the inspector for their licence details, a certificate of currency for their insurance, and confirmation that the report will follow AS 4349.3 where it applies. If something about an inspector does not sit right, let us know using the feedback steps below.
If you have feedback
The simplest way to flag feedback about an inspector is to reply to the email you received from the system when you submitted the form, or use the quote form again and note your feedback in the "other" inspection-type box. We read it.

The site is free to use and there is no fee for receiving quotes.
